- Turn off all cell phones, pagers or any audible signals during class.
- Arrive 10 minutes before scheduled class start time.
- Upon arrival for class and entering the studio area, please keep your personal volume down. Many yoga practitioners like some quiet time to mentally clear their mind (centre) before their yoga practice.
- Avoid use of strongly scented personal hygiene products and perfume. Many people have breathing conditions or allergies that can be aggravated by scent.
- Don’t bring food or beverages into the studio area (water in bottles is ok).
- We prefer you don’t leave class early as it disrupts others in their practice.
SAFETY, COMFORT & WELLBEING
- Practice in bare feet and on a non-slip yoga mat (we provide yoga mats).
- Wear comfortable clothing that moves with you.
- Avoid meals before class — you’ll be more comfortable if you don’t eat 2-3 hours prior to practice. If your energy is low, try something light like a piece of fruit and a few nuts. Keep yourself hydrated.
- Do not chew gum or suck lozenges during your practice.
- All participants are required to sign a confidential waiver and personal information form prior to beginning practice at Heart Centre Yoga Ltd.
