Ariel is a creative, outgoing, approachable teacher, inspired to give to others the tool of yoga that has enriched her life. She has been teaching all levels hatha, power and pre-Natal yoga since 2002 with over 2000 hours experience teaching in Vancouver, Burnaby and the lower mainland. Ariel's teaching draws on her background of contemporary movement training, jazz and ballet, personal yoga practice and intuition.

A horseback riding injury left Ariel with severe back problems for years and in 1994 she started practicing yoga on the advice of a physiotherapist. Yoga became the only alternative to living life in pain. It is this personal experience with injury and recovery through yoga that she continues to share with her students, and as a result she places a huge emphasis on safety and correct alignment in her classes.
